A chic destination plantation wedding at Desert Plantation

Keven and Kelsey traveled from North Mississippi to get married at Desert Plantation. It was a beautiful September day for a wedding.
Since Kelsey didn't want to have to make two trips, we simply scheduled some time to take a few bridal portraits before we started with the first look.

Since Kelsey and Keven did a "first look," we had lots of time during the gorgeous daylight to do plenty of portraits of the two of them.

Then we took some posed portraits around the plantation.

The wedding party joined us about 20 minutes later. I loved how simple they kept it- one bridesmaid and one groomsman.
The ceremony was decorated beautifully by the talented florist from Zachary, Don Lynn Florist. The hanging baskets were stunning.

Keven and Kelsey's sign in table included a custom painted wood tree. So pretty.
The reception was laid back yet fun. A nice, intimate party with the people who matter most to them.

The night ended with a sparkler exit, and then they allowed time for some sparkler painting with friends. Congrats, Kelsey and Keven!
