Comparison between gallery-wrapped canvas and mounted print

This picture is a gallery-wrapped canvas. It comes ready-to-hang and can be cleaned with a damp rag. This is a canvas material.

The second black and white picture is a mounted print. It's about 1/4 inch thick, and still needs to be framed to be hung on the wall. I wouldn't wipe this with a damp cloth (as you can tell it needs a good dusting.) I would clean this with a dry cloth. This picture has been around unframed for a while, and the edges are now worn.
It does have a uv protective coating.
