Hemingbough Romance (St Francisville wedding photographer)

Last week I had to drop off some pictures at Hemingbough, a beautiful wedding venue in Saint Francisville where I've photographed several weddings and bridal portrait sessions. Hemingbough isn't the typical plantation venue because there is no "plantation house" and no oak alley. What it does offer, though, is a vast piece of property, a lake, a gazebo on a peninsula, and most people's favorite, the huge Greek amphitheater where nearly all of the ceremonies take place. And PEACOCKS. Lots of them.
When I first drove up, these peacocks were right beside the front entrance. According to the staff, it's peacock breeding season, so the male was really strutting his stuff.
I decided to call him David, and the little female in the puddle "Bathsheba."
These are a few quick Instagram shots.
