Frankie & Greg, Old Centenary Inn, Jackson, LA

Frankie and Greg from Petal, MS, celebrate their anniversary every year at the Old Centenary Inn in Jackson, LA, so it only made sense for them to get married in the courtyard of the historic bed & breakfast on April 30, 2010. They had an intimate ceremony with only three close friends, the pastor, and myself as witnesses, and afterward went for dinner at the Carriage House restaurant in St. Francisville, only a short drive away.

I was honored to be one of the few people to witness their ceremony and also to meet them. Frankie is so sweet, and Greg is such a character! He hugged everyone, made fun of my pregnant belly, and kissed Frankie a lot. When the pastor came to the part about "in sickness and in health," he said "well, she doesn't get sick much."

On a personal note, completely off the subject, I am two days past my due date to have this baby. I have no clue how to change a diaper or make a bottle, but with the help of many friends and family, Josh and I are certain to figure this out.... It can't be much different than caring for our horses, chickens, and dogs, right? :) TM

I'm not sure about how close babies are to horses, chickens, and dogs but I'm sure ya'll will figure it out pretty quick.
