Lighting party pics

Kaylynn Clark hosted a photographers' lighting party at her upstairs studio area a while back, and these are just a few of the fun pictures we played with that day.

On a different note, I've been working on senior portraits, finalizing some upcoming weddings that I'm photographing, and also working on the baby room at my house. I have only 10 weeks until the baby arrives, which means approximately 16 weeks until I can ride my horse again. It may seem crazy that I'm counting down to riding my horse, but to me, it's the most torturous thing about this pregnancy- having a 3 year old horse who needs to be ridden, but I can't do it. Next time, I plan to have my horse (hopefully the same horse) well-trained so I can ride him some during pregnancy. If you want to know more about my horse or the adventures I've had with him, see my other blog, Adventures With Tex.

As far as the baby goes, I'm getting to the point where I'd like the baby to shrink or just come on out. It's making me groan at random times in public, when it sticks an elbow or knee or foot into my belly with a nice jab. Plus, my husband's shirts are getting tighter.

At least I'm allowed to take and edit pictures while I'm pregnant!!

Ahhh tara marie. I think you ought to, for the next few weeks, change your logo to 'tara marie- pregnancy' instead of photography. You make me smile. And I love the picture of hope with the grapes:-)
