Sarah and Christian- November 14th ( St Francisville Photographer )

Sarah and Christian's sunset wedding was in the beautiful little chapel in The Bluffs right here in St. Francisville, LA, on a beautiful cool fall evening. What a gorgeous couple! The one picture of Sarah and Christian standing just outside the doors of the church is a replica of one taken of Sarah's grandparents at their wedding, at Sarah's request.
As you can see, Christian and his friends are in the National Guard and active duty, and the three guys in uniform (including) will all be overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan by this time next year. Since both my brother-in-law and several close friends serve our country in the Louisiana national guard, I have a great respect for the men and women in the military, and therefore offer discounted photography services to them. Christian and Sarah were able to take advantage of that, and I hope that their wedding pictures will be what reminds them of each other after Christian deploys in January.
Thanks so much to my 2nd photographer and lighting assistant, Rachel, for all of her excellent help at the wedding!

Sarah and Christian- coming tonight!

Diana and Gene, Marble Falls, TX

The reception was filled with warm conversation, dancing, wine, and laughter! My favorite pieces of decoration were the colorful paper lanterns hung everywhere, glowing just enough light for us to eat. River City Grill did a fabulous job of catering the event.

Then on to the ceremony, where a lost strap was no big deal to anyone. The officiant was a friend who became ordained just so he could marry Diana and Gene.

The night began with Diana getting ready, and then a cocktail hour for all the guests to get to know each other.

All of the little girls who came to the wedding were given a cute little ballerina princess skirt to wear, just for fun. They all felt so pretty, and they did a little dance for everyone just before the sunset ceremony.

Diana and Gene have been some of the most generous and thoughtful people I've ever photographed. Every time we had a phone conversation, Diana ended up turning the conversation to what's going on with me, instead of herself! Gene has been known to help me over the phone with my computer difficulties, and always is extremely happy to do anything needed. This generosity showed during the wedding. They set up a table for the kids to entertain themselves, including stickers, markers, and coloring pages. They put one together for Diana that described her well!

Diana and Gene were married at a gorgeous lakeside camp near Kingsland, TX. Diana put so much time and effort into planning this intimate destination wedding, and it showed. Diana actually sewed the napkins, labeled the favors, and made some of the candles! She's the one who introduced me to ETSY . She, Gene, and friends came one week early to central Texas to take care of all the details to make it perfect for the guests.

Here are a few pictures from Brittany and Jared's wedding in Sedona, AZ

The setting was a beautiful riverbank in a green valley in Sedona, Arizona, huge red rocks surrounding us.

I loved the brown and turquoise color combination!

The guys were a tight-knit group who have known each other for a long time. They were quite energetic during their group pictures.

I knew Brittany from when our time spent in Texas. She actually worked under my husband as a wrangler at the barn. One thing that she and I have in common is our strong love for animals. These two huge dogs belonged to one of the groomsmen, and Brittany just had to have some pictures with them. She had no problem getting on the grass and dirt to play with them.

Most of the guests traveled from Phoenix to attend, and the good planning on everyone's part made it a gorgeous and fun wedding for all, including myself!
