Trevor's seniors

This has nothing to do with Trevor. Hi folks, it's me again, Margaret. Has anyone seen that Ray Stevens video? As the holiday season approaches (tomorrow), I remember watching that video at my Granny's house, along with several other Ray Stevens music videos. That one stands out because the "It's me again, Margaret. Are you NEKKKKEEEEDD?" quote has stood the test of time in my family and in my mind. It makes me laugh every time I hear it. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Are you NEKKKKKEEEDDD?

OK, back to photos. I've known Trevor for almost 3 years, and he's awesome. Trevor is seriously the smartest young guy I've ever met (second only to my friend Drew, who wrote a book while going through law school). I asked Trevor while driving to our location what his hardest class was, and he couldn't tell me an answer. That's because NONE of them are hard for him! When you get to know Trevor, his sense of humor is what I like best. He always makes me laugh.

Business Cards and other random thoughts

Here are our current business cards. Soon to come- a new logo and a change of colors!
We're now moving into (and currently working out of) the new office at 604 Ave. G in Marble Falls, TX, behind First State Bank, and near Brother's Bakery. Tody was wonderful- I was able to WALK to the bank and to Subway for lunch!

I'm having a heck of a time hanging shelves in the office- luckily Josh, the best husband in the world, will come tomorrow to help me hang them.

News- Kate Hamilton now is employed by Tara Marie Photography! Kate is the proffessshunal assistant (as she spells it), and she's doing a great job of filling orders, organizing, and many other things for me... maybe I can sneak a picture of Kate one day. She doesn't seem to like to have pictures taken of herself.

Light bulbs- these were the tiniest light bulbs I'd ever seen, and they were so cute in their white cardboard package! They go to a new lamp in the office.

Elizabeth's family

Elizabeth's family met me at Whitewater, the Horseshoe Bay putt-putt course. We arrived just in time to see another photographer finishing up some wedding pictures at the same waterfall! I don't know who it was, but hello, fellow photographer, if you ever find this blog.
I couldn't get over this family's great teeth! Their baby, Kaden, and Adison, were both troopers. It was a fun shoot that involved only a little criminal activity... I'm beginning to think that trespassing more often would be a really fun way to get some great pictures.

Sheri's family

Sheri's family photo shoot at Longhorn Caverns was quite nice, because it was relaxed. The baby, Lily, was so cute with her red tongue from kool-aid! Lily was definitely a poser...

Calli's family 11-15-08

These guys were so much fun! The kids (especially Gannon)were infatuated with putting leaves down the waterfall at Johnson Park, and they also liked the ducks. Kids will always be kids!

Jordan's modeling shots

Jordan was a fun girl! I was excited to do some modeling shots with her. Here's a preview...
Less than 3 days until office move-in date! I'm sure Starbucks is getting tired of seeing my face.

New Location

Tara Marie Photography is moving to a new location! The new place for us to call our workplace is approximately 602 Ave. G, Marble Falls, TX, and the move-in date is Nov. 16th, 2008. It's a house turned into a commercial setting called Harris Suites. I stopped by yesterday to take some pictures of the future office to get decorating ideas. The building owners are having a garage sale in the office this week, so there were some things in the office, but these are the very first pictures!! If anyone would like to help us arrange and decorate, please contact me.... I want an Ikea modern feel, but although not a bad photographer, I'm a terrible decorator.

Miller Family

The Millers were one of the most fun families I had ever done pictures of! They were willing to do almost anything, their dog, Llano, was very cute and agreeable, and the kids were great fun! We did their pics at Boulder Creek Farms Boulder Creek Farms ( is a huge, gorgeous ranch 7 miles east of Marble Falls on which you can ride your 4 wheeler, hike, explore, see their pumpkin patch, and lots of other things. I can't wait to finish these photos! TM

Ryan's Seniors

Ryan is my fabulous occational assistant photographer, errand runner, and general go-for. She has already graduated from Marble Falls High, but didn't do senior portraits because she wanted to wait until the orthodontist took off her braces. Last Friday we went on a photography location hunt and took her pictures in the meantime. Here is a preview- more will come online.
